UFO of sorts?

So, I made this WAY back when I 1st began quiltmaking in the early 2000s...Yellow Brick Road pattern, didnt we all make this starting out?

Anyhoo, I was going to panto it but my friend's longarm broke, so she asked to have the quilt for a breast cancer patient/friend in texas...Fast forward, Jbug had it pantoed, I just bound it today, so its finally done!

My brother passed yesterday...

My step brother died.  I didnt know he was ill...gah..Found out he didnt want anyone, including my stepfather (his diad) to know...sad...he was in his early 60s..

I started to make a quilt for my stepfather out of patriotic fabs, and now will give it to my sis-in-law in memory of her hubby..
