Dang...found another sneaky UFO

Gee a hidden UFO?  ...lol
Good excuse for this one.. I knew it would need custom quilting, and I didn't want to do it cause its a biggee.
My note in the book says I started it  july 2007! Opps....
So, now that I have  longarm....guess I'd better get going...

UFOs...

Well me thinks the biggest issue with UFOs are...You can't remember WHAT you intended to do with the project! Gah, I knew, but was ignoring this UFO. Why? ummm, maybe its the 500 or so half square triangles, ya think?
I think I will try to make it smaller for a wall hanging, a med. size one...Ok, off to iron a few hundred u know whats!

Baby quilt experiment

Ok, so I waqnted to experiment with a fluffy batt and fleece. It turned out ok. I washed it and it still looks good. Note to self- fluffy batt & fleece makes the longarm bog down a bit. Bessie did power through it, but panto-ing was a bit dense.

/Pantographed...whew!

I've got sumthin to say...

Ok, so here is a pic of a quilt for my van... Made it about 5yrs. ago when I 1st bought a van, just found it so this is for sure a UFO!
I practiced a pantograph on it, and experimented using fleece on the back.
What I have to say is,  we stress too much about the actual machine quilting.  Deciding on thread, pattern, batt etc when after its washed, it goes flat anywho!  lol..
