My step brother died. I didnt know he was ill...gah..Found out he didnt want anyone, including my stepfather (his diad) to know...sad...he was in his early 60s..I started to make a quilt for my stepfather out of patriotic fabs, and now will give it to my sis-in-law in memory of her hubby..

So sorry to hear about your brother. I know some people don't want others to know how sick they are, but it leaves a void - there may have been something that you would have liked to say to him. I'm sure your SIL will enjoy the quilt when you're finished.
